Короткі прикметники
Прикметники з 1–2 складами утворюють ступені через суфікси.
Правило
Короткі прикметники зазвичай утворюють вищий і найвищий ступені за допомогою -er та -est. Якщо слово закінчується на -y, утворюємо форми easy → easier → easiest, а в коротких CVC-словах кінцева приголосна подвоюється.
