Future tense

Be going to

Use it for a planned future action or an obvious prediction based on signs now.

Rule

The form of be (am/is/are) agrees with the subject. After going to, always use the base form of the verb. Will is for decisions made now; be going to is for plans.

Formula

Positive (+)Subject + am/is/are + going to + V1I am going to study tonight.She is going to call him.
Negative (-)Subject + am/is/are + not + going to + V1I'm not going to wait.They aren't going to come.
Question (?)Am/Is/Are + subject + going to + V1?Are you going to help?Is it going to rain?
