Prostorové vztahy
Jak je jedna věc umístěná ve vztahu k jiné v prostoru.
Pravidlo
Tyto předložky ukazují prostorové vztahy: under, above, next to, between, behind, opposite, in front of. Uč se je jako malé vizuální situace, ne jako abstraktní seznam.

Poznámky
- next to = přímo vedle; near = blízko, ale ne nutně v kontaktu
- above = výše, ale ne nutně v kontaktu; on = na povrchu s kontaktem
- in front of a behind se nejsnáze pamatují podle obrázku nebo schématu
