May und might drücken aus, dass etwas möglich, aber nicht sicher ist. Mit may fragst du außerdem formell um Erlaubnis.
Regel
Verwende may / might + V1 für Möglichkeiten: It may rain. Might klingt etwas weniger sicher als may. Mit May I ...? fragst du formell um Erlaubnis.
