Comparação de adjetivosNível de inglês A2
Comparação de adjetivos
Compara pessoas e coisas: os adjetivos curtos levam -er/-est; os longos, more/the most; e algumas formas irregulares devem ser aprendidas separadamente.
Regra
Os adjetivos de uma sílaba e os de duas sílabas terminados em -y formam os graus com -er / the -est. Os mais longos usam more / the most. O comparativo vem com than; o superlativo leva the.
Dica
Conte as sílabas: uma, ou duas com -y no final → adicione a terminação; se houver mais → coloque more / the most antes do adjetivo.
Fórmula
| 1 sílaba | adjective + -er → the + -est | fast → faster → the fastestcheap → cheaper → the cheapest |
|---|---|---|
