Past Continuous
Use o Past Continuous para uma ação em andamento em um momento específico do passado.
Regra
Was/were + V-ing costuma aparecer com o Past Simple para descrever uma ação em andamento interrompida por outra.
Dica
Past Continuous apresenta a cena de fundo; Past Simple indica o fato que a interrompe: I was cooking when he called.
