Have / Has
Use it for possession, family, age, everyday life, and things you have.
Rule
Use have with I/you/we/they and has with he/she/it. In questions and negatives, use do/does + have instead of changing have itself.
Formula
| Positive (+) | I/You/We/They + haveHe/She/It + has | I have a car.She has two sisters. |
|---|---|---|
| Negative (-) | I/You/We/They + don't haveHe/She/It + doesn't have | I don't have time.He doesn't have a phone. |
| Question (?) | Do / Does + subject + have? | Do you have a pen?Does she have a brother? |
Notes
- Use has only for he / she / it
