Past Continuous
Sert à une action en cours à un moment précis du passé.
Règle
Se construit avec was/were + V-ing.
Il se combine souvent au Past Simple : un processus interrompu par une autre action.
Astuce
Le Past Continuous pose le décor ;
le Past Simple est l’événement qui l’interrompt : I was cooking when he called.
