Possessive adjectives

My, your, his, her, its, our et their indiquent à qui appartient quelque chose et se placent toujours devant un nom — pour un emploi autonome, passe à mine, yours, etc.

Règle

My, your, his, her, its, our et their se placent devant un nom et ne s’emploient pas seuls. Pour un emploi autonome, utilise mine / yours / his / hers / ours / theirs.

Erreurs fréquentes

Remarques

  • Un nom suit toujours : my car, her bag
  • its = appartient à une chose ; it's = it is / it has
