Exprimer la quantité nulle — none en réponse brève ou dans none of, et not any dans une phrase avec un verbe à la forme négative. Fonctionne avec les pluriels et les indénombrables.
Règle
Emploie none surtout en réponse brève ou dans la structure none of. Emploie not any dans une phrase, avec un verbe à la forme négative.

Remarques
- none of + nom : None of my friends smoke.
- None peut être sujet, not any non :
Not any milk is left.→ No milk is left.
