Say / Tell & Do / Make
Quattro verbi che chi studia l’inglese confonde spesso: say e tell per il parlare, do e make per azioni e risultati.
Regola
Say si usa da solo o con to: say (to me). Tell richiede una persona: tell me. Do riguarda attività e lavoro; make riguarda la creazione o produzione di qualcosa.
