Place Relations

Come si trova un oggetto rispetto a un altro nello spazio.

Regola

Queste preposizioni esprimono relazioni spaziali: under, above, next to, between, behind, opposite, in front of. Imparale come piccole scene visive, non come un elenco astratto.

Struttura

Next to / near	beside / not far from	The chair is next to the table.The park is near my house.

In front of / behind	in the front / at the back	The car is in front of the house.The dog is behind the chair.

Note

next to = proprio accanto; near = vicino, senza necessariamente toccare
above = più in alto, senza necessariamente toccare; on = su una superficie, con contatto
in front of e behind si ricordano meglio con un’immagine o uno schema
