Past Continuous
Usa il Past Continuous per un’azione in corso in un momento preciso del passato.
Regola
Si forma con was/were + V-ing. Spesso si combina con il Past Simple: un processo interrotto da un’altra azione.
Suggerimento
Il Past Continuous descrive lo sfondo; il Past Simple è l’evento che lo interrompe: I was cooking when he called.

- I was cooking when he called. (processo + momento)
